A small ratio  will allow each child exceptional time and attention from experienced Kindergarten teachers 
  Parent/teacher interviews is scheduled for February
  Special guests will attend the preschool and will focus on nutrition, fitness and fun science experiments.

K/P Curriculum


Sanur Independent School aims to offer quality education in a friendly, positive, creative and supportive environment. Our highly qualified teachers develop programs based on Australian National Curriculum.

English Language and Mathematics are taught as stand alone subjects while the areas of Sicence, History, Geography and  Design and Technology are taught in interdisciplinary thematic units.

Language other than English (Bahasa Indonesia), Civics (PKN), Indonesian Studies and Religion are also in the curriculum.

ISA Test

The ISA assessment program is designed specifically for students in international schools in Grades 3-10. It is based on the internationally endorsed reading, mathematical literacy and scientific literacy frameworks of the OECD's Programme for International Student Assessment(PISA).

SIS students in Grades 3 and 6 partake in these exams in February.

National Exam

National Exam (Indonesian: Ujian Nasional, commonly abbreviated as UN or UNAS) is a standard evaluation system of primary and secondary education in Indonesia and the equation of quality of education levels among the areas that are conducted by the Center for Educational Assessment, The Department of Education.

SIS conducts these exams for students in G6 who are Indonesian Nationals.
